First of all as Always thank you to Abamath for giving me the Permission to write this Introduction.
As the Readers of this Blog most know by now, I'am often on Bandcamp and switch through so many Artists. And in this Sense i found also Abamath!
Many groups that I know have achieved a certain status, but there are also some really great underground bands that deserve recognition. Personally, I am more of a symphonic, speed, or power metal listener, but sometimes I also explore other genres or sub-genres.
Line Up is as Such
M. (All instruments, Vocals)
Abamath could already be heard in February 2019 at the Abamath / Subterraneum split, which in this sense reveals his musical talent. And opend up a complet new Band to a wide Black Metal Community.

As always, we were able to ask our questions, which we are happy to include.
Ceyla: "Is there any band that inspires you the most? Or, if there isn’t such a band, where do you draw your inspiration from?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
M.: "I would not say I'm inspired by a single band, but the spirit of the true underground exteme music. I do find inspiration from the greats of the Black Metal genre, but moreso bands like Countess, Gorgon, Furze that embody a "carve your own path" D.I.Y. work ethic/ideology within the genre."
The long-awaited full-length album, Caress of the Dark Moon, was released on October 3rd, 2019. The album claimed to have reached even more fans than the previous split.
1. Gather the Ashes (06:23)
2. Across the Plains of Fire (05:15)
3. Scent of War (07:07)
4. A Spell Cast from the Hands of Belial (02:41)
5. Satana (07:09)
6. Forever Night, Silent Escape (06:33)
7. Cast Adrift on the Sea of Nihil (07:17)
Full Playtime: 42:25
Of course, there was also the question of the festivals.
Ceyla: "Are there any festivals or events in Germany, or even worldwide, that you would like to attend? Some of them always offer opportunities to apply."
Everyone has different ideas about which events they might be suitable for, so we are always curious to see what the answer will be.
M.: "In Germany, although it is not currently a running festival, if they were to ever do another, I'd love to attend a MetalHart Festival. Otherwise, as a fan of extreme music in general, Obscene Extreme would be a enjoyable to visit, and Gekiko fest in Japan would be wonderful to attend as well. I'm sure many more but these currently pop into my head."
As many of You know, i do love to recommend to different Festivals, like Dong Open Air, Full Force, Rock Harz, Summer Breeze, Turock Open Air , Party San Open Air, Frostfeuernächte, Dark Troll Festival and many many more. The only thing we could try would be to write to Graspop or, as always, share the Summer Breeze page.
The next collaboration came about on February 28, 2020. This time, Abamath and Tahazu joined forces to release a split album. You can clearly hear the nuances of the different artists if you take the time to listen.
1. Abamath - Gnawing at the Eyes of the Damned (05:17)
2. Abamath - Sorceress (06:30)
3. Abamath - The Winter Realm (10:21)
4. Tahazu - Blood and Fire (04:44)
5. Tahazu - Reign ov Hell (06:34)
6. Tahazu - Bleeding Throne ov Thorns (07:53)
Full Playtime: 41:19
We now try to include the complete discography in these presentations to make the search easier.

Of course, we always give artists and musicians the option to leave a message for the readers. These messages are always very heartwarming, even if you shouldn't mention them in metal. And yet, they are all absolutely lovely people.
Ceyla: "Is there anything you would like the readers of this blog to know about you and your music?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
M.: "The only other thing I'd like to share is i do have more music being worked on (multiple releases simultaneously), so expect more Abamath music eventually. However, it may be some time before anything is ready to be unleashed."
With this, we had another Honor to write about a Awesome Band and we hope to fascinate so much more People to look into his Music.
All named artists, as well as festivals and the entire discography, are linked throughout the article!
