With “My Kingdom Come,” Timeless Rage makes a powerful statement in the realm of symphonic power metal—an album that impresses in equal measure with its energy, atmosphere, and musical precision. From the very first bars, it becomes clear: here, epic grandeur meets passionate songwriting.

The album’s sound is characterized by a successful balance between driving guitar riffs, orchestral arrangements, and catchy melodies. The symphonic elements never feel overdone, but instead blend harmoniously into the overall picture, lending the songs a cinematic depth. Fans of bands like Nightwish or Rhapsody of Fire, in particular, are sure to get their money’s worth here.

What sets “My Kingdom Come” apart is its strong emotional component. The songs convey a palpable passion that is reflected in both the powerful vocals and the dynamic instrumental passages. Nicolaj’s voice impresses with its expressiveness and versatility—from anthemic highs to soulful moments.

Production-wise, the album is also top-notch. Every part is clearly defined without losing the raw energy of the genre. The drums consistently drive the songs forward, while the guitars deliver both melodic and powerful performances. The orchestral layers provide that certain “epic extra” one hopes for from a strong symphonic power metal album.

An absolute highlight is “The Devil’s Masquerade.” The track captivates with its dark, almost theatrical atmosphere, which harmonizes perfectly with the symphonic arrangements. The tension builds steadily and erupts into a powerful chorus that instantly sticks in your head.

With “A Vampire Legacy,” Timeless Rage takes an even more narrative-driven direction. The song thrives on its dense atmosphere and conveys a clear, almost cinematic image. The combination of melodic lines and dramatic elements in particular makes this track a true experience.

“The Seed of Fear” brings another facet into play: here, a more aggressive, powerful sound dominates. The guitars take center stage, while the rhythm section provides plenty of drive. At the same time, the characteristic epic quality remains intact, allowing the song to perfectly blend both intensity and melody.

Another standout track is “The Pale Death.” This track places greater emphasis on atmosphere and emotional depth. The symphonic elements unfold their full effect here, lending the song an almost melancholic, haunting mood that lingers long after the song ends.

Thematically, the album stays within the genre’s classic spectrum—big emotions, inner struggles, strength, and self-discovery. But rather than coming across as clichéd, Timeless Rage manages to give these themes their own unique twist and make them feel authentic.

Conclusion:
“My Kingdom Come” is an impressive work that demonstrates just how vibrant and captivating symphonic power metal can still be today. It combines epic soundscapes with catchy structures and emotional depth—an album that unfolds its full impact both in everyday life and at full volume.

For fans of the genre, this album is definitely a must-listen—and further proof that Timeless Rage have more than earned their place in the scene.
