First of all as Always thank you to Abäkfor giving me the Permission to write this Introduction.
As the Readers of this Blog most know by now, I'am often on Spotify and switch through so many Artists. And in this Sence i found also Abäk!
Many groups that I know have achieved a certain status, but there are also some really great underground bands that deserve recognition. Personally, I am more of a symphonic, speed, or power metal listener, but sometimes I also explore other genres or sub-genres.
The Line-Up is as Such

In September 2018, the band saw the light of day with their self-released album El tambor de Sibö and managed to captivate the first fans.

The topics they cover in their lyrics are also close to their fans’ hearts, as they cover Costa Rican history, literature and native mythology.
As always, we were able to ask our questions, which we are happy to include.
Ceyla: "Is there any band that inspires you the most? Or, if there isn’t such a band, where do you draw your inspiration from?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Abäk: "There have been some bands that have influenced us in different moments. Mostly they have been Heavy Metal bands from Spain like Mago de Oz, Saurom and Tierra Santa. But also, speaking of German bands, Avantasia and, more recently, Faun, are bands that also inspire us."
You can definitely hear the influences of the bands mentioned above in the songs, but the sound of the songs is still very unique. Unique enough to let your imagination run wild and just let yourself be carried away. Even if that's hard to imagine with some music genres.
The single "Santa Rosa" was released in October 2019, to be precise, the 9th. It may have been just a 05:19 single to some, but it immediately stuck in the minds of their fans.

Of course, there was also the question of the festivals.
Ceyla: "Are there any festivals or events in Germany, or even worldwide, that you would like to attend? Some of them always offer opportunities to apply."
Everyone has different ideas about which events they might be suitable for, so we are always curious to see what the answer will be.
Abäk: "I believe all metal bands have the dream of playing at Wacken Festival, that would be amazing. But in general we have the goal right now of playing in Europe, it doesn't matter the festival or the country."
As many of You know, i do love to recommend to different Festivals, like Dong Open Air, Full Force, Rock Harz, Summer Breeze, Turock Open Air , Party San Open Air, Frostfeuernächte, Dark Troll Festival and many many more. The only thing we could try would be to write to Graspop or, as always, share the Summer Breeze page.
Nonetheless, we're keeping our fingers crossed for the upcoming festival season for the band where they get the Chance to Play.
In December 2019, the 19th to be exact, the next surprise came in the form of the single "Luna Roja." Here, too, the 5:26 track is very well thought out and conveys all the emotions.

Of course, we always give artists and musicians the option to leave a message for the readers. These messages are always very heartwarming, even if you shouldn't mention them in metal. And yet, they are all absolutely lovely people.
We would like to add something else: Also, we would like to mention our last album "El Ritual de las 7 Voces" which is actually our best one so far and the one that got us to be known internationally, since its a big sound difference with the precious ones that you mention.
Ceyla: "Is there anything you would like the readers of this blog to know about you and your music?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Abäk: "We would like to thank our Germany listeners. Curiously, according to Spotify, Germany is the second European country where we have more listeners (just behind Spain). Taking into account that there is a language barrier, it is a very nice surprise for us to have those listeners from Germany. It would be amazing to do a concert there someday. And for all those that dont know our music, we invite you to give it a try. We are kind of a mashup betweeen Avantasia power and story-telling with Faun's ancient and tribal elemment (With the difference that we are inspired by our latin american heritage, roots and ancient cultures and stories). Danke!"
With this, we had another Honor to write about a Awesome Band and we hope to fascinate so much more People to look into there Music.
All named artists, as well as festivals and the entire discography, are linked throughout the article!
