First of all as Always thank you to A Plague for giving me the Permission to write this Introduction.

As the Readers of this Blog most know by now, I'am often on Spotify and switch through so many Artists. And in this Sence i found also A Plague!
I'm always surprised that I go in the direction like Black Metal since I'm more into the symphonic direction.

The Line-Up is as Such
Al (Bass, Vocals, Guitars (2019-present))
Rick (Drums)

But since the lyrical themes (Anti-fascism, Suffering) of the songs speak to several people, I had to ask if I could write about them. Thankfully, they said yes!

On February 7th, the band released their first demo into the light of day, or in the case of black metal, into the moonlight. With the name Long After You're Gone, they gradually built up their fan base.
1. Méchant (04:44)
2. Pallbearer (03:31)
Full-Length Playtime: 08:15

Of course we couldn’t resist asking our questions! Andrew answered everyone of them in the most honest way imaginable.
Ceyla"Is there any band that inspires you the most? Or, if there isn’t such a band, where do you draw your inspiration from? If neither applies, how did you come up with these two sub-genres, if you can still call them that?

A.P: "Hello , thank you for this great support and interest to know about my art. There are so many kind of art and subjects that inspire me to write songs and performing them such as books, painting exhibitions, theatre play, poems and even the daily life events.I love music and thousands of different styles ( from 80's pop to Grindcore) and all of them have some impact when I'm writting some stuff."

We can confirm that you can detect some influences from the things mentioned if you listen closely. All these different structures come together in a unique melody that one can only guess at in their songs.
Black Metal, at least from what I've heard, is for people who hear a deeper meaning in music. And I think that applies here too.

On August 28th, 2020, A Plague honored their fans with their second demo called Amer
1. Ashes (04:10)
2. Where All Pain Converge (06:08)
Full-Length Playtime: 10:18

As you can hear throughout his entire discography, you quickly recognize and notice the bombastic power that lies in his music. The meaning of some lyrics also becomes clearer bit by bit.

I did ask myself if I should ask this to every artist since not everybody has the desire to be on festivals or events, but nonetheless, I ask.
Ceyla: "Are there any festivals or events in Germany, or even worldwide, that you would like to attend? Some of them always offer opportunities to apply.
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
A.P: "As an One man Band I prefer to play on small venues  but I've already played on some open-air festivals here in Brazil and it was awesome. I try to choose venues , festivals and bands to play with some sympathy for my ideals or at least anti fascism , anti racism or against any other kind of prejudices. My art isn't just about entertainment,it' s political."

We can only agree, you don't necessarily have to go to big festivals even if they attract the most attention. Maybe one day we will be lucky and be able to welcome both of them to our region.

We now try to include the complete discography in these presentations to make the search easier.

Of course, we always give artists and musicians the option to leave a message for the readers. These messages are always very heartwarming, even if you shouldn't mention them in metal. And yet, they are all absolutely lovely people.
Ceyla: "Is there anything you would like the readers of this blog to know about you and your music?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
A.P: "I'd like to thank you guys again and every single person who take a break on this mad life to read my words. I' m part of RABM community where we wanna spread a safe place for people who likes spiritual, dark ,emotional and combative music and art.
