They are pretty new to me, but I can tell they've got a lot of potential.

Not only through their Song "The Wheel" I was made aware of them, also with their Festival in England "Imperial Age Festival" where not only Crusade of Bards but also Pythia, Battle Born, Ghosts of Atlantis and Alterium were Guests. Also Orden Ogan would be there but had to Cancel there Perfomance due to Illness.

With there newest Release "Gnosis" they hit a bit of an harder Style of Symphonic Metal. But did a absolute great Job in Composing and finding there right Vocal Lines (and Tones) together.

65 000 years ago a highly advanced civilization was annihilated in a global cataclysm. Over the next thousands of years a new civilization slowly emerged, and the achievements and glory of old became obscure myth and legend....

But the ancient knowledge was never entirely lost. Preserved by a lineage of Keepers, it has always been influencing the evolution of mankind in the hopes that, one day, humanity would finally be able to match it's great progenitor - Atlantis.

Inspired by this ancient lore, Imperial Age create a musical experience which combines the energy of heavy metal with the altitude of a high fantasy blockbuster.

-Biography of the Band-

IMPERIAL AGE is a Russian-British metal band based in Northampton, UK. It was originally founded in 2012 in Moscow, but when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, singers Aor and Jane Odintsova moved to the UK (endorsed as "Exceptional Talents" by Arts Council England). The other Russian members did not follow, and were replaced by British and Italian musicians.

IMPERIAL AGE commands a vast global fanbase with 3 released albums, millions of streams, millions of videos views, tens of thousands of CD sales and 6 EU/UK tours including more than 200 headliner concerts.

Their music is currently released through their own label, Atlantean Records Ltd, and is funded predominantly by their fans through successful crowdfunding campaigns.

Since 2024, the band has also launched their own metal festival in London, IMPERIAL AGE FESTIVAL, funded by a private group of their fans.
