That's why I'm very happy about this Blog. So far, I've only found very good bands that I'm happy to recommend. In 2006, the band released their demo Delirium Tremens, which can be found on their Bandcamp. You can look forward to 17:28 long lyrical themes such as Gothic fiction, poetry, death, loss and Edgar Allan Poe.
1. The Dawn (07:03)
2. A Forest (The Cure cover) (04:49)
3. The Conqueror Worm (05:36)
As always, we were able to ask our questions, which we are happy to include.
Ceyla: "Is there any band that inspires you the most? Or, if there isn’t such a band, where do you draw your inspiration from? If neither applies, how did you come up with these two sub-genres, if you can still call them that?"
All of our Question were answered by the Instrumentalist Miguel Santos. Even though it took some Time of, of his Work with the Band since it got a bit Chaotic (his own Words) we are absolute Happy we could get an Answer to all the Questions.
Miguel: "In terms of bands that inspire me the most. It is difficult to name just one, of course one of the bands that inspired me the most and that made me like Doom Metal is My Dying Bride, not only made me like Doom Metal but also made me want to play Doom Metal. But then there are bands, not necessarily metal, that were always inspirations of mine in one way or another and that I can't live without listening to them, I can name Lacrimosa and The Cure, for example.
I think some of that influence can be heard on our songs, the early stuff very much on the style of My Dying Bride, and now the recent material where I am mixing Doom Metal with classical instruments and choirs, maybe we can call it Symphonic Doom Metal!"
I had to admit that Symphonic Doom Metal sounded new to me. But it fits absolutely perfectly with some of the band's powerful songs. Some of the songs simply allow you to escape from everyday life.
It may not be for everyone, but we always like to recommend just having a listen, be it to the earlier works or the later ones.
In February 2011 they released their album The Mirror of Deliverance. Limited and as a digipack under Arx Productions. There were only 500 copies.
1. Neophyte (06:59)
2. Os Vultos (10:34)
3. Lady of Shalott (08:26)
4. Liber XLIX (08:31)
5. The Lost King of the Lyra (05:39)
6. Chrysopoeia (11:33)
Total running time: 51:42
Of course, there was also the question of the festivals.
Ceyla: "Are there any festivals or events in Germany, or even worldwide, that you would like to attend? Some of them always offer opportunities to apply."
Everyone has different ideas about which events they would be suitable for, so we are always curious to see what the answer might be.
Miguel: "I have been to some German festivals, I have been a few times to Wacken Open Air for example, and in 2008 (I believe) I went to Wave Gotik Treffen. Absolutely love both festivals!
In terms of playing with A Dream of Poe, of course it would be awesome to play those 2 I just named, but Hammer of Doom would be a fantastic experience! Hopefully they will return this year! Other than that I don't really know other festivals where we could fit."
As many of You know, i do love to recommend to different Festivals, like Dong Open Air, Full Force, Rock Harz, Summer Breeze, Turock Open Air , Party San Open Air, Frostfeuernächte, Dark Troll Festival and many many more.
We now try to include the complete discography in these presentations to make the search easier.

Of course, we always give Artists and Musicians the option to leave a message for readers. These messages are always very heartwarming, even if you shouldn't mention them in metal. And yet they are all absolutely lovely people.
Ceyla: "Is there anything you would like the readers of this blog to know about you and your music?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Miguel: "I just wanted to say thank you for this opportunity and for being able to "bring" me to your readers! If you have never heard of us, feel free to visit our social media and listen to our songs on all major streaming platforms and also on YouTube where you will find numerous live videos, music videos, etc.
If you know us, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you but also apologize for the time it takes to release the new album. The songs and lyrics are written, all instruments are recorded but unfortunately we have not been able to record the vocals yet as life seems to be delayed. The plan to release it in 2025 is still very much alive but at this point I cannot promise anything as it is out of my hands."
All named artists, as well as festivals and the entire discography, are linked throughout the article!
