{Group Presentation} Zyphra

I introduce you here to the Spanish Heavy Metal & Hard Rock Band Zyphra!

In January 2005, the group starts rehearsing in Rivas; Christian Fernandez, Daniel Redondo, Juan Carlos Patón and David Álvarez form the first formation. In the first few months, Samuel would join Castillo. This would last until January 2009, the date Juan Carlos Patón would fall.

In February of this year, Miguel Blanco joined the group as a guitarist. In the following months it will be the most productive time in terms of group concerts. They reach the finals of the prestigious TAF Salt Contest, where Zyphra consolidates as the only exponent of the heavy metal genre to reach this finale. On 16.09.2010 Miguel gives his last appearance with Zyphra at Parla parties with Asfalto and Avalanch. Manolo Herrero replaces him with the six strings.

The band gives several concerts with the tour group like Excalibur Metal, La Mala Y Ritmo and Compás. This is the last performance of the group (29/09/2011) and the farewell of two dear friends, Manolo Herrero on guitar and Daniel Redondo on bass. Currently the group has just recorded Héctor Cobo and Diego Muñoz as new bass players and guitarists respectively; and is about to end the recording of nine songs, which will soon be presented in the form of a model.
