[Introduction] Timless Rage (Germany)

Music Platform's

First of all, I'd like to thank the band Timeless Rage for giving me the honor to write about them!

I found out about them over Instagram, as Impossible as it sounds. And since I'am Symphonic Metal Lover it was for me quiet obvious to follow them.

I have the story of the band, what difficulties they had to overcome and how they got back on their feet spread throughout the article.
The beginnings
We are the band Timeless Rage from Villingen-Schwenningen in southern Germany and we play Symphonic Power Metal. This genre perfectly covers the personal musical preferences of our six musicians. The band was founded earlier, but has been dedicated to this style since 2012 after major line-up changes. With the first EP Forecast, Timeless Rage presented a strong release a short time later. Anyone who listens to this work will immediately notice that the six musicians have already put a lot of thought into giving the listeners of this genre a mix of power, melodic riffs and a lot of goosebump feeling, without letting boredom arise. The response of the audience was very positive and so we could quickly play well-attended concerts with some scene greats.

The damper
Several mixed years followed with some line-up changes, which cost us a lot of time, so that we had to let many great opportunities pass by. We have only been complete again as a band since the end of 2019. Just in time for COVID and the associated lockdowns and canceled events. 

Back in 2013, the band whisked their growing fan base away to a fabulous fantasy world full of heroic deeds, but also emotional sides to discover.
Forecast became the starting point for what we know today on Spotify. For all lovers of symphonic music, a new band burst onto the scene and wanted to be conquered.

The restart
However, we used the time to work on ourselves and our songs and to finish an album with a new line-up. We have not only developed musically, but also as people.

Shortly thereafter, the community was able to look forward to the monumental single “Warrior,” which was released on all platforms in 2021.
This also marked the beginning of a new chapter for the entire band. Despite COVID and some changes in the crew, they were now back to full strength and ready to move forward.

As always, we were able to ask our questions, which we are happy to include.
Ceyla: "Is there any band that inspires you the most? Or, if there isn’t such a band, where do you draw your inspiration from?"

Christian: "This question is not that easy to answer. We don't think there's one band
that inspired us all to take this path. There is some overlap, but we
some come from very different directions - including wild genre detours - and
Everyone brings in completely different influences and experiences. It's probably more like one
collective passion for individual aspects of music that has grown over the years
Catchiness, heaviness and epic orchestra, which lead us to our sub-genre, the “Symphonic
Power Metal with a predominantly male voice”. There wasn't a single one
moment of enlightenment, but simply a shared, deep love for the music that we had back then and
would like to hear today and create it yourself."

And both I and metal fans are absolutely delighted about that. Finding your own sound isn't always easy, if not the hardest thing of all. And yet they have managed to make their sound uniquely their own.

The impetus
In 2023 and 2025 there were further personnel changes with a new singer and a new bassist, but this time they brought us forward. Timeless Rage is a stronger band than ever before - like a clockwork whose gears mesh perfectly and always harmonize. And so we can not only build on the band's early successes, but surpass them in every respect.

The surprise came in 2022 with her single “2 Elements,” which just slipped into her album “Untold.” The anticipation was almost unstoppable, because the single alone was inspiring.

And once again, you were able to immerse yourself in a fantasy world full of myths and heroic deeds. Just become a part of it.

One question preoccupied me greatly: every band has a story to tell. So it came as no surprise that Timeless Rage also had a moving story to tell.

Ceyla: "Often there are events or even concerts that awaken something like that in you. The desire to start a band. Did you have something like that too?"

Christian: "We understand the question very well, because many great stories begin with one
Wait. Christian z. As a child, B. happened to go to an Eagles concert and after that
it was clear that he wanted to play the guitar. For the rest of us and for the topic “we as a band” it was
but different. It was more of a slower, organic process. The founding of Timeless Rage
and the current line-up were mainly the result of many years of growth friendships and the shared realization that we all had a deep desire to have our own Creating music and bringing it to the stage.
Our band's history goes from the founding to the first EP release Record contract for the first full-length album and the current single releases for a few years lasted and also included setbacks and line-up changes. That's probably one too Proof that our band formation was less based on a fleeting moment of inspiration but rather on a deep, sustained commitment. Our shared vision was the driving force that pushed us to take on musical and personal challenges Mastering it and working on ourselves and our sound for years until we finally get here that you have found us and that we can share this with you."

Barely a year later, the big breakthrough came with the single Ocean Twilight, which was released in 2023. The single transports the listener to the underwater world, which, on the surface, is haunted by pirates and sea creatures.

You are fully aware of the adventures and dangers of the high seas. Would you embark on the journey?

Another year later, the single “The Devil's Masquerade” was released. After succumbing to the depths of hell or the devil's ball, you dive right back into a new world that wants to be heard.

The cover alone reveals that you have to be prepared for something. It's about finding the balance between good and evil before succumbing to evil.

Of course, there was also the question of the festivals.
Ceyla: "Are in Germany or more so in the World any Festivals or Events that you would like to attend
Some of them are always giving Chances to Apply to. Or give it Bands that you would like to Tour with?" 

Everyone has different ideas about which events they might be suitable for, so we are always curious to see what the answer will be.

Christian: " We haven't had a specific wish list of festivals yet, but we can tell you
That we would feel at home on all stages, the heart of the metal community represent. Whether it's the big ones like Wacken, Rock in Rio, Summer Breeze, Hellfest or Masters of Rock or the up-and-coming ones in our region like the RVBang in Balingen, the Open Air Monastery in Villingen-Schwenningen, the Wolfweez in Irslingen or the Metalacker in Tennenbronn… we would be there (again) at any time!
Whoever gave us the opportunity to be on their stage in the past became always pleasantly surprised. "

As many of You know, i do love to recommend to different Festivals, like Dong Open Air, Full Force, Rock Harz, Summer Breeze, Turock Open Air , Party San Open Air, Frostfeuernächte and many many more. The only thing we could share is the Summer Breeze page. And of course, if I see a call somewhere that leads to a festival or support for a band, it's always possible to share it.

This year, the band has graced us with an emotional single called “Moonbite Serenade.”

The best thing to do is just let yourself get caught up in the song and dream yourself through it. It's a good idea to let yourself be accompanied or guided in a pleasant way. No matter how many times I've heard it, I just can't get enough of it.

Of course, we always give artists and musicians the option to leave a message for the readers. These messages are always very heartwarming, even if you shouldn't mention them in metal. And yet, they are all absolutely lovely people.
