First of all as Always thank you to Aarni for giving me the Permission to write this Introduction.
Many groups that I know have achieved a certain status, but there are also some really great underground bands that deserve recognition. Personally, I am more of a symphonic, speed, or power metal listener, but sometimes I also explore other genres or sub-genres.
Line-Up is as Such
Master Warjomaa (does mostly everything)
He got a New Member in the Band which was not yet announced
To pick up a few more things from official sites, I'm including them here.
On various websites, including the official, claims have been made of other band members. This however is not true. Aarni is a one-man project and the other "band members" are fictional characters. Although some session musicians are used from time to time.
The Finnish word "aarni" has many meanings, for more information on them, see here.
Master Warjomaa describes Aarni's music as "Avant-Garde mooD Musick."
In 2002, a special Internet-only track called "Pandemia" was released.
Also from the Note on Bandcamp will be included here: Aarni has, of course, always existed, but the story of the current incarnation began in the fall of 1998, when M.·.M.·. suddenly began developing his vague musical ideas on his own. He received telepathic messages from the unicorn-dolphin elder of Sirius B, who implored M.·.M.·. to reawaken the ancient Xothian tradition of hearing technology known as "Aarni."
Soon, other shadowy beings joined him. Grok?
In 2001, Aarni entered the music world with their demo, simply called Demo 2001.

Ceyla: "Is there any band that inspires you the most? Or, if there isn’t such a band, where do you draw your inspiration from? If there aren't any, how did you come up with this Genre?
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
MW: " During my formative years I was mostly subjected to folk (rock), classical and jazz. In the 80’s to metal staples such as Metallica, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Helloween. Later on to e.g. Death, Gothic and Doom Metal…also to 70’s prog rock, ambient and so forth.
I suppose that my personal interpretations of life experiences inspire/influence me…how original! I don’t even listen to that much music nowadays, maybe because I believe that I have a love/hate relationship with it."
MV.: "I don't really listen eagerly to much new music lately. Obviously, I’m inspired by all kinds of music, and I try to avoid sounding like every band I’ve listened to - or like none of them.
It's possible to listen to any music and be inspired, even something like Schnappi Das Kleine Krokodil or Fichtl's Lied. The real question is: How much cultured, useful, unique, and/or complex music can a band create?
But this is an answer that people—those who hoard music and have a systematic approach—must provide.
If you want to follow this path, you’ve got to give credit to historical figures, like the “dinosaurs” Bach, Mozart, and so on…or the greatest medieaval and Renaissance composer: “Anonymous”. Try to do as much research as possible and listen to as much bearable music as you can.
Never underestimate a genre, unless it's one of the genres I dare not speak of here. Search for something pure, elevated, and educational. I guess then you'll come across unusual, avant-garde things—something truly new. Listening to music is like pursuing new inventions.
All parts of the world are involved. Do the research personally, though, because I don’t really remember my journey in the world of music—fortunately.
My ultimate motive is simply driven by my passion (in the sense that music is the truth and light in this world) for music, which is the language of spirits. I guess the Spirit has communicated with me far too much."
You can definitely hear the influences of the bands mentioned above in the songs, but the sound of the songs is still very unique. Unique enough to let your imagination run wild. Even if that's hard to imagine with some music genres.
A wide variety of topics appear in the songs, including philosophy, the Cthulhu Mythos, occultism, the Kalevala, and anti-Abrahamic religions.
In 2002, the then soloist graced us with the split CD Aarni / Umbra Nihil, which runs a total of 01:18:25.

Of course, there was also the question of the festivals.
Ceyla: "Are there any festivals or events in Germany, or even worldwide, that you would like to attend? Some of them always offer opportunities to apply."
Everyone has different ideas about which events they might be suitable for, so we are always curious to see what the answer will be.
MW: "I have never been a big fan of live music – either playing or attending concerts. I’m not interested in how a band performs live…I prefer “dead” music. Neither do I enjoy being part of a crowd or being stuck in a tour bus with a bunch of musicians.
I’m afraid of doing something I’d regret later. Sorry for the boring answer, but it comes from the heart…of being a grumpy hermit."MV: "Like Oktoberfest? I don’t drink, play, attend concerts or follow the news much. This isn't really a question for me. Pardon me, but I don’t think I’ll be giving any concerts anytime soon."
On November 17, 2004, the band finally released their debut album, Bathos. It graced us with a running time of 1:05:07 of sonorous music.

Of course, we always give artists and musicians the option to leave a message for the readers. These messages are always very heartwarming, even if you shouldn't mention them in metal. And yet, they are all absolutely lovely people.
Ceyla: "Is there anything you would like the readers of this blog to know about you and your music?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
MW: "The new and third Aarni album out “soon”! Might just take us another year or so…meanwhile listen to some good old music. From before, you know, “the world went wrong”. Or don’t, if you dislike music."
MV: "I wish everyone all the best—wealth, health, and happiness. Take care! Don’t waste your time hoarding music, because you’ll get old and forget it anyway! Unless..."
