First of all as Always thank you to Necrosexual for giving me the Permission to write this Introduction.

Many groups that I know have achieved a certain status, but there are also some really great underground bands that deserve recognition. Personally, I am more of a symphonic, speed, or power metal listener, but sometimes I also explore other genres or sub-genres.

The Line-Up is as such
The Necrosexual (Guitars, Bass, Vocals)
Anthony "Vigo" Gabriele (Guitars)
Miles Ziskind (Drums)
Nick Roskow (Guitars)

In 2018, a crossover/thrash metal/hardcore punk, speed/black metal band really made a splash. With their album Grim1, the band Necrosexual from the USA landed straight into the hearts of their fans.
1. Clockwork Funeral (01:34)
2. Necrosexual Encounter (02:16)
3. Black Metal White Winter (02:57)
4. The Lair Where No Light Enters (02:44)
5. My Kind of Freaks (03:43)
6. Trust No One (05:58)
7. Bottomless Pit (05:29)
8. Dead Sexy (03:06)
Full-Playtime: 27:47

Some users on Bandcamp, where the album was released, also wrote down their thoughts on this album. And of course, we don't want to keep these from you either.
negrivin: The Necrosexual's debut record GRIM 1 is truly 1 grim experience- ha! It's as silly as that joke but as dark as the aesthetic implies. Going back to the first wave of black metal, these ghouls boost thrashy riffs with blackened energy and rhythm technique with unrelenting sex appeal. Underneath all the corpse-paint is nothing short of fun old rock 'n roll, so you get many angles of attack.

Anthony Mehlhaff: This album is fire! Starts with some Clock Work re-work and ends with “Dead Sexy” which will get any metal head smashing around! I wanna see this live! Great fucking album!

After searching for a while, unable to find the right words to describe the debut album, I found a rather fitting description in Antichrist Magazine.
Earlier this year, I covered Necrosexual’s most recent EP, and while I was a bit skeptical about the antics and layout, it proved to be worthwhile. Recently, I went to see the band, and not only did they deliver a great show, but I discovered they had put out a full length prior known as Grim-1. While the follow-up EP wasn’t bad, I find the full-length to be a far more focused effort and a bit more solid from cover to cover.

Though I wouldn’t call Necrosexual a blackened thrash band in their entirety, they lay those toppings over everything. Plenty moshable moments creep in, such as the blasts of energy found in “Trust No One.” But the truth is, they have a lot of fun with this and incorporate it in a goofy way. For the most part, the focus is on spookier passages that rely on classic sounding hooks and horror/comedy lyrics atop. And of course, sexual themes are thrown in. “The Lair Where No Light Enters” and “My Kind Of Freaks” showcase this quite well, and you can pick up hints of King Diamond.

Of course, you can find some that act as full-on heavy hitters the whole way through. “Necrosexual Encounter” injects that into the atmosphere and utilizes blackened drumming tactics. My favorite song is the aforementioned “Trust No One,” because of how much it jumps around. The first half is almost a dance-worthy banger, but the momentum gained in the second half is pulled off better than anything here. Closer “Dead Sexy” also whips out a rock ‘n roll type intro that busts into a ball of thrash fury.

The boys from Philly and their corpse-painted front man really deliver a different and tasty dish of sexy hooks and gritty riffs. Grim-1 also contains the only cover of The Rolling Stones’s “Paint It Black” to give it a completely different spin that I’ve ever heard. If that isn’t enough to peak your interest, then you likely didn’t make it this far. And if you get a chance to see them live, absolutely do it.

The subsequent EP in 2019 was also extremely well received by fans. With the name The Gory Hole Overture in F#, Necrosexual finally broke the ice completely.
1. Necromutants March Through Hell - The Prelude
2. The Gory Hole Overture in F#
3. The Lair Where No Light Enters
4. In Ancient Days (Black Widow cover)
5. Orgy on Your Burial

And here, too, I couldn't resist adding the comment from the Bandcamp page.
Hayduke X: As always, Necrosexual is so wrong, they're right. Gloriously over-the-top lyrics meet quality thrash riffs in a particular type of overture....

A comprehensive review of the EP is also a must. In this case, we have to thank Indy Metal Vault.
Hailing from a city close to my home known as Philadelphia, Pennsylvania comes ghoulish project The Necrosexual. Their EP The Gory Hole Overture In F# blends horror themes, punk attitudes, metal riffs, and silliness into one short blast of energy. This yields five tracks fitting for a (short) Halloween party.

Really though, it’s four tracks and a prelude called “Necromutants March Through Hell” which is essentially a noisy haunted attraction entrance-type thing backed by slow doom riffs and a King Diamond like voice. The title track follows this with a punky approach and raspy vocals that still carry melody. Gang shouts delivered in the same manner fill the background in the chorus, and the longer guitar noodles bring this tune to the forefront of the EP. “The Lair Where No Light Enters” is more direct and focuses on dropping deep guitar chugs.

The last two songs kick off with “In Ancient Days (Black Widow)” introduced by a heavy bass lick that breaks into a slower layout with a devious tint. Rolling drum kicks busting into the background every now and then make it a bit more unique. And finally “Orgy On Your Burial” is the most ridiculous one of all, relying heavily on fun rhythm patterns that incorporate some of the fastest moments and harshest vocals here. Overall, The Gory Hole Overture In F# is a very noisy spook-fest that satisfies a small craving of demons and riffs but ultimately is rather inconsistent and messy for something that follows a theme and is so short. The musicians are great, and with some better structure, a promising full length could certainly come of this.

Nevertheless, we were able to ask our questions. And, as always, we were curious to see what answers we would receive.
Ceyla"Is there any band that inspires you the most? Or, if there isn’t such a band, where do you draw your inspiration from?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Necrosexual: "It's hard to narrow it down to one. But you always remember your first. And for me it was Metallica, followed by Slayer.
I'd say the Necrosexual sound reflects my love of eighties heavy metal and black metal, like Venom, Mercyful Fate, Nasty Savage and Ozzy Osbourne. German thrash like Sodom, Kreator and Destruction played a big role in my teenage years, and influenced my riff game as well."

You can definitely hear the influences of the Bands mentioned above in the songs, but the sound of the songs is still very unique. Unique enough to let your imagination run wild and just let yourself be carried away. Even if that's hard to imagine with some music genres.

Even though it wasn't heavily promoted, a second Single/EP was released in the same year as the first, entitled Necrosexual Encounters LIVE: 2017–2019. He released it in July.
1. Dead Sexy (6.1.19 ) (03:14)
2. Necromutants March Through Hell (Prelude) / The Lair Where No Light Enters (10.31.2017) (04:18)
Full-Playtime: 07:32

Of course, there was also the question of the festivals.
Ceyla: "Are in Germany or more so in the World any Festivals or Events that you would like to attend
(Feel free to include any you may have already visited. Or want to Visit again).

Some of them are always giving Chances to Apply to. Or give it Bands that you would like to Tour with?

Everyone has different ideas about which events they might be suitable for, so we are always curious to see what the answer will be.

Necrosexual: "I would love to set foot on the hallowed ground of ZILLE GP in Göppingen. Getting one's band logo painted on their wall is like the ultimate honor."

As many of You know, i do love to recommend to different Festivals, like Dong Open AirFull ForceRock HarzSummer BreezeTurock Open Air , Party San Open AirFrostfeuernächte and many many more. The only thing we could share is the Summer Breeze page.

Nonetheless, we're keeping our fingers crossed for the upcoming festival season for the band where they get the Chance to Play.

In March 2021, a unique group of artists came together for a split release. Repulsive Vision, Necrosexual, Truck Flag, and Mad Cow joined forces to create the split CD Six Feet Under Classics.
1. Truck Flag - America the Brutal (Six Feet Under cover) (03:07)
2. Necrosexual - Bringer of Blood (Six Feet Under cover) (02:47)
3. Mad Cow - Dirty Underwear (Six Feet Under cover)
4. Repulsive Vision - The Day the Dead Walked (Six Feet Under cover) (02:24)

Just a few months later that same year, their EP Seeds of Seduction was finally released. If anyone is wondering why it's not the original cover, it's because it kept getting deleted whenever I tried to add it.
1. Chaos Command (05:25)
2. Screamin' for the Steamin' Demon Semen (04:32)
3. A Long Time to Die (05:09)
4. The Grim Hymn (01:18)
5. Dead Sexy (Joel Grind remaster) (03:06)
Full-Playtime: 19:30

This time, we found a detailed review of the EP on Metal Archives itself, written by Sweetie: A little while back, Philadelphia's crossover/blackened shock rockers Necrosexual came fourth with another EP. Titled Seeds Of Seduction, it follows the frontman's theme of ghouls, sex, and muscle imagery every bit as the artwork depicts. While not really elaborating much on the prior EP, it's pretty serviceable and works as a bit of a “part two.”

Opener “Chaos Command” sets the tone right away, admittedly being a bit all over the place to match its title, however. Clicky drums and disoriented guitar passages flood the song, under the King Diamond meets Venom type vocals, which get evened out as we move forward. “Screamin' For The Steamin' Demon Semen” is as goofy as it sounds, but fun nonetheless. “A Long Time To Die” is where things tighten up, boasting the strongest riffs under clearer leads and better vocal clarity.

Side B sees “The Grim Hymn” do more of the spooky thrash in a noisier manner, and we close with a new Joel Grind master of “Dead Sexy,” which appeared on the debut full-length (and is my favorite song by the band). Although it's brief and serves as a cheap dose of cheesy entertainment, Seeds Of Seduction is worth its quick immersion in a proverbial pool of raw meat. The flow feels more like a compilation than anything else, but for what it is, it's fine.

Since we don't miss any artist releases, I'm adding the live album Live Encounters 2022, which was released on February 1, 2023.
1. Prelude / The Lair Where No Light Enters (06:37)
2. Chaos Command (05:13)
3. Gory Hole (04:24)
4. A Long Time To Die (05:20)
5. Necrosexual Encounter (02:14)
6. Dead Sexy (04:11)
Full-Playtime: 27:59

I have to admit, it took a while before I got the go-ahead, but I finally got it with the preliminary explanation that a new album was about to be released. And as it happens, their new album Road to Rubble will be released in February 2026.

I was also offered the opportunity to write a review, but I would like to listen to the songs carefully first before I possibly form a superficial opinion.
1. High Times in Hell (03:57)
2. The Brimstone Brothel (03:41)
3. Kiss the Knife (04:26)
4. Lubricator (03:21)
5. Twilight Drifter Intermezzo (01:06)
6. All Roads Lead to Rubble (05:15)
7. Damned Romance (03:23)
8. Nocturnal Ignition (03:52)
9. Hard Leather Woman (04:54)
Full-Playtime: 33:55

Of course, we always give artists and musicians the option to leave a message for the readers. These messages are always very heartwarming, even if you shouldn't mention them in metal. And yet, they are all absolutely lovely people.

Ceyla: "Is there anything you would like the readers of this blog to know about you and your music?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Necrosexual: "Turn up the volume and play my new album ROAD TO RUBBLE, arriving 27 February 2026. See you freaks in the pit!"

With this, we had another Honor to write about a Awesome Artists and we hope to fascinate so much more People to look into their Music. 🎵🤘🏻

All named artists, as well as festivals and the entire discography, are linked throughout the article!
