First of all as Always thank you to 10,000 Years for giving me the Permission.

As the Readers of this Blog most know by now, I'am often on Spotify and switch through so many Artists. And in this Sense i found also 10,000 Years!
I'am more on the Symphonic Side of the Metal Genre so no one can reckon that I would also like Stoner Metal sometimes. It is sometimes suprising to me as Well.

But since the Lyrical Themes (Science fiction, Horror, Weird tales) of their Songs does speak to many People i had to ask if i could write about them. Thankfully they said yes!

The Line-Up is as such
Alex Risberg (Bass, Vocals)
Erik Palm (Guitars)
Alvin Risberg (Drums) (2023-present)

The band's debut EP was released in July 2020. The name 10,000 Years became a familiar name for many stoner metal fans who found their way to the band. It was released in a limited edition of 50 copies, so anyone who managed to get their hands on one was lucky.

2. Master of Oblivion (04:39)
3. Lee Van Cleef (03:07)

Full Playtime: 20:47

Here are a few reviews from their Bandcamp:
alligator rodeoAwesome, raw sound, cool artwork and bandname. Would love to hear more!

Mister MouseUnlike their namesake, 10,000 Years, these boys spend under 60seconds to deliver their signature delivery of crushing fuzzed riffs, thunderous drums and drill sergeant vocals.

DoomlobynThis is the album for anyone who heard High on Fire and though: "I sure wish they sounded a bit more like Conan" and if that is you I salute you, you've got excellent taste and should buy this album.

As always, we were able to ask our questions, which we are happy to include.
Ceyla"Is there any band that inspires you the most? Or, if there isn’t such a band, where do you draw your inspiration from?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Alex: "Inspiration comes from a lot of places, movies, books etc. When it comes to bands that have influenced us, Black Sabbath is the foundation of everything. But there’s a lot more of course. Some worth mentioning are Kyuss, Slayer, Motörhead, Metallica, High On Fire, Mastodon, Kylesa, Baroness and Black Tusk, Torche and The Sword. The list goes on."

The band has also participated in several projects:
– "Dark Side of the Earth" on Trip to Sweden (Weedian, June 2021)
– "Albatross Landing" and "Dark Side of the Earth" on The Magick Hour Vol. 2 (Olde Magick Records, digital, January 2023) – perhaps some of you have already encountered them there.

In April 2021, the Swedish band released a single called "March of the Ancient Queen." It was easily available either on Spotify or on Bandcamp.

Of course, there was also the question of the festivals.
Ceyla: "Are there any festivals or events in Germany, or even worldwide, that you would like to attend? Some of them always offer opportunities to apply.

Everyone has different ideas about which events they might be suitable for, so we are always curious to see what the answer will be.

Alex: "There’s a ton of festivals we would like to be a part of. Krökbacken, all the Desertfests, Red Smoke Festival, Sonic Blast, Krach Am Bach and Freak Valley Festival to name a few."

As many of You know, i do love to recommend to different Festivals, like Dong Open AirFull ForceRock HarzTurock Open Air , Party San Open AirFrostfeuernächteDark Troll Festival and many many more. The only thing we could try to share the Summer Breeze page.

Nonetheless, we're keeping our fingers crossed for the upcoming festival season for the band where they get the Chance to Play.

In May 2021, they released another single. This time, it was called "Gargantuan Forest" and was intended to be a "countdown" to the upcoming album.

Of course, we always give artists and musicians the option to leave a message for the readers. These messages are always very heartwarming, even if you shouldn't mention them in metal. And yet, they are all absolutely lovely people.

Ceyla: "Is there anything you would like the readers of this blog to know about you and your music?"
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Alex: "Thank you for your support, it really means the world to us. Keep your eyes open for new music and we’ll see you on a stage somewhere soon."

With this, we had another Honor to write about a Awesome Artists and we hope to fascinate so much more People to look into their Music. 🎵🤘🏻

All named artists, as well as festivals and the entire discography, are linked throughout the article!
